Biography:

 Dr. V. Saravanan working as Professor in Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Arunai Engineering College, Tiruvannamalai, Tamilnadu, India since May 2005. He has teaching/industrial experience of about 18 years.His research interests include Solar Photovoltaic Power Systems and Microgrid.   He has been carrying out R & D activities at Arunai Engineering College funded by Central Power Research Institute, Bangalore, Ministry of Power, National Insitute of Wind Energy, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India in the area of renewable energy systemswith the total grant amount of INR 33 Lakhs.   He published and presented more than 120 + research papers in National/International Journals/  Conferences/Seminars  and Exhibitions.   He received awards for his academic and research accomplishments from his host institution, Anna University, Chennai and Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi.
