Biography:

Zorica Brankovic received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering (1991), M.S. in Materials Science (1996) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (2000) from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. She is a Research Professor and Director of the Center of Excellence for Green Technologies of the University of Belgrade- Institute for Multidisciplinary Research. Dr. Brankovic was a PI or Co-PI on the several national projects including “Zero– to Three-Dimensional Nanostructures for Application in Electronics and Renewable Energy Sources: Synthesis, Characterisation and Processing”. Her research focuses on materials chemistry, synthesis, advanced processing methods, structural and functional characterization of the nano- and microstructured electroceramics and biopolymers. She was project leader on several international projects between Institute for Multidisciplinary Research and partners from Slovenia, Brazil, Croatia etc. Dr. Brankovic was Lecturer in the courses “Physical Chemistry of Solid State Processes” and “Materials for Electronics” at Multidisciplinary Graduate School of University of Belgrade, Materials Science Program. She was also a Member of the Council for Multidisciplinary Studies of the University of Belgrade. Dr. Zorica Brankovic is author or co-autor of more than 90 peer reviewed journal articles.
