Biography:

 Dr. Prabhudev M.S completed B.E. (in Mechanical Engineering) in the year 1996, from PDA College of Engineering Gulbarga, Gulbarga University Gulbarga with First class with Distinction. He obtained M.E in Manufacturing Science & Engineering in the year 1999 with First Class with Distinction from UVCE Bangalore (stood II Rank to University), Bangalore University Bangalore. He has obtained Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering Sciences in August 2011 from Basaveshwar Engineering College Bagalkot (Visvesvarayya Technological University VTU, Belgaum, Karnataka) under the guidance of Dr. S. A. Kori, Presently Executive Director, Karnataka State Higher Education Council, Karnataka. 
Dr. Prabhudev M. S is a committed teacher and researcher. He served as Lecturer, Senior Grade Lecturer and Selection Grade Lecturer, since from 1999 at Govt. Polytechnic Gulbarga. As a HOD and Principal at Govt. Polytechnic, Kalgi.  He has put in more than 18.8 years of teaching experience. He has worked as a In charge Principal of Govt. Polytechnic, Kalgi and involved in various academic reforms and developmental activities of the institute to bring in quality and to improve the results. Worked as Chairman & Member of Administrative and Academic Committees of Government Polytechnic Institutes. He is also Advisor and Visiting faculty to Hyderabad Karnataka Centre for advanced learning and welfare society, (NGO) Gulbarga. Honorary Visiting faculty for training competitive Exams to SC/ST Officers Club, Gulbarga, 2004-07.
He is an active member of professional bodies like Life member of ISTE, New Delhi, Fellow & Life member of Institution of Engineers India (IEI), Life member of Tribology Society of India (TSI), New Delhi and Life Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG) USA. Member, International Association of Advanced Materials [IAAM], Linköping, Sweden Donor & Life Member, Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishattu (KRVP). He is also Executive Committee member and member of subcommittees of Institution of Engineers India IE(I), Kalburgi Local Centre, Kalburgi for 2016-18, 
He has published his research work in 10 reputed International journal, 1 National journal, 13 International conferences, 2 National Conferences, and has attended Int. & National level conferences, number of Workshops and Seminars. He is involved in preparing Proposals/Technical Reports/Progress Reports for UGC, DRDO-NRB, RUSA 2013. Proposal for Infrastructure development in Polytechnics 2004-05. Proposal for Up gradation of Infrastructural facilities in the existing Polytechnics, MHRD of Government Polytechnic, Gulbarga, 2011-12. He is also organizer and Coordinator of Workshops and STTP’s for faculty of Polytechnic and Engineering colleges. He is organizer and coordinator for students Seminars and Workshops. He Conducted and chaired Technical Sessions at International Conferences at Vellore institute of Technology, Vellore, KJ College of Engg. Pune, Trinity Engineering College, Pune. and G.H Raisoni College of Engineering Pune. He is also reviewer of Many International conference papers. He is Invited Scientific Advisory Committee member of ISET 2015 & ISET 2016, Invited National Advisory Committee member to ISTE National level workshop. Invited Member, He worked as Organiser/Scientific/Technical programme committee member  for conferances held in various countries like China, Tokyo, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand. University of Nottingham Malaysia and University Teknologi Mara in Shah Alam.  Thailand, Portugal. South Africa. Atlanta, USA. UK, Hong Kong., and Abu Dhabi.
 He has delivered key note speeches and invited talks at International Conferences, National Workshops, Regional Workshops and Seminars conducted by Engineering colleges and Polytechnics. In receipt of invitations from various countries to deliver invited talks. Worked as Resource Person in National level ISTE Workshops and Short term training programme. His fields of interests are Wear studies of Al-Si alloys at room and high temperature.
