Biography:

Dr. Lohani has more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy education, training and research in
Nepal and international arena. He has been teaching renewable energy and conducting thesis and projects in
UG and Graduate engineering students. Dr. Lohani has actively been involved in the field of biogas and solar
energy research and consulting assignments along with collaboration with international Partners. He has
mainly focused in waste (water) characterization, anaerobic digestion (waste to bio-energy) research,
optimization of biogas production from solid and liquid waste and holistic model of Municipal Solid Waste
(water) Management.
