Biography:
Dr. Abdul Manan is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology Bannu Pakistan. He received his M. Sc. Degree in Physicsin 2004 from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He received his PhD degree from the University of Peshawar Pakistan in 2011 with specialization in Microwave dielectrics. He Worked as Visiting Scholar from Fab 2010 to July 2010 in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Sheffield UK under the supervision of Prof I.M. Reaney. His research activities are focused on the Preparation, characterization, and modeling of functional materials (Microwave, ferroelectrics, Piezoelectrics). Since 2010, he is the co-author of more than 40 papers in journal and international conferences.
Recently (April-May 2017) he joined the group of Prof Haxing Liu, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology, China.
He is the editorial member of the “International Journal of Materials Science and Applications” and Reviewer to a number of international journals such as, ceramic international, Journal of Materials Science, Materials Science Poland, Materials Journal of Pakistan Materials Society, Chemistry and Physics, Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics etc.
He had been working as Manager for academia-Industry linkages at office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) Islamia College Peshawar Pakistan.
He is currently working as Director ORIC University of Science and Technology Bannu Pakistan.
