Biography:

Dr. Sean Mc Grath, is a senior academic at the Dept of Electronic & Computer Engineering, University of Limerick in Ireland. He is currently Director of Marconi Shannon Research centre and has worked in the area of mobile communications for over 35 years He has published numerous papers and supervised over 100 research students.  He has been involved in many European Research Projects, ranging from 1G to 5G projects. He has worked with National Semiconductor and Analog Devices and was a Consultant in the area of Broadband Wireless and Satellite communications. In the last 5 years, he has managed an International Internet of Things summer school focusing on Industrial applications working with leading multi-national companies.
