Biography:

The Materials Engineering And Nanosensor, or MEAN, Laboratory investigates and develops advanced materials, fundamental biomedical and environmental sensor platforms, and wearable electronics.

The MEAN Laboratory lies at the interface of materials science/engineering, polymer science, nanotechnology, and surface (sensor) science. From studying fundamental material properties and applications of nanomaterials comes innovative nanosensors, biosensors, wearable sensors, and bio-compatible materials applicable to a number of fields and disciplines.
