Biography:

Dr. Rizwan Ali is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Lahore Business School, The University of Lahore, with an extensive 10-years executive career portfolio. Dr. Ali has started his career as a Lecturer at the University of Lahore in 2010 after completing his Master’s degree in Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Lahore. During his stay at UOL, he upgraded his qualification and earned M.Phil. (Management Science-Finance) degree from the University of Lahore in 2012. In 2014, he was awarded a Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for three years of the Ph.D. program. He received his Doctoral degree in (Management Science-Finance) from the School of Economics & Management, Xidian University, in 2017. His research interest includes Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Accounting, and Capital Markets. He has attended several national/international conferences/seminars/workshops. His publications have appeared in a wide range of international journals such as Sustainability, Eurasian Business Review, Management Decision, Journal of Developing Areas, Journal of Applied Business Research. He also acted in the editorial board such as Journal of Strategy and Management, Asian Finance Research Journal and peer reviewer such as Management Decision, International Journal of Management Review, Journal of Environmental Management, International Journal of Business Environment, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Social Responsibility Journal, Sage Open.
