Alonso Perez-Soltero is a doctor in Information Technology and Communication, University of Murcia, Spain. He received his master degree of Science in Information Technology from the Instituto Tecnologico y de EstudiosSuperiores de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, and his bachelor degree of Industrial and Systems Engineering from Universidad de Sonora, both in Mexico. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT). He has served as Manager and Systems Consultant at various companies. He has been Coordinator of Graduate Industrial Engineering, Leader of the Academy of Information Technology and Research Group Leader in Information Technology. All these activities have been developedin the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Sonora. He has extensive experience as a professor in the topic of Information Systems in Public and Private Universities. He has published books, chapters of books, papers in refereed journals and international conferences. He has participated as a reviewer in several international refereed journals and scientific committee member of conferences nationally and internationally. His research interests are related to the fields of Knowledge Management and Information Technology in Universities and Small and Medium Enterprises.
