Mehdi Sadat-Shojai is currently a faculty member of the chemistry department at Shiraz University in Iran. He has 10 years experience in development of hybrid biomaterials with applications in dental materials and regenerative medicine. Dr. Sadat-Shojai has been the recipient of many honors and awards and is the author of several distinguished peer-reviewed articles, conference papers, books, and patents. He has also participated in the scientific committee of many conferences and associations and serves as a reviewer in a wide range of well-known journals. His current research efforts focus on polymer nanocomposites, 3D scaffolds for tissue engineering medicine, and bioactive constructs that can induce the human cell differentiation.
