
Prof. Özgür Aydın

Biography:
Prof. Özgür Aydın has been specialized in the electrochemical energy conversion by fuel cells with more than a decade of experience in this field. He has received his master's degree in Energy Science and Technology at the University of Ulm of Germany, and PhD degree in Hydrogen Energy Systems at Kyushu University of Japan. He is currently focusing on the utilization of alternative energy carriers for power generation in solid oxide fuel cells, being affiliated with the Technical University of Munich of Germany and Karadeniz Technical University of Türkiye. He also conducted research on solid oxide fuel cells at the University of California San Diego and Technical University of Denmark as a Guest Professor. He is honoured of being a recipient of Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship (USA), JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship (Japan), MEXT PhD Scholarship (Japan), and TEV/DAAD (Türkiye/Germany) scholarship for his master study.
