Biography:

Dr Numan Arshid is an Associate Professor and Head of Sunway Center for Electrochemical Energy and Sustainable Technology (SCEEST), School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. He has 8 years of research experience developing 2D heterostructure nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage and sensor applications. Dr Numan has published over 150 high-impact research articles, edited 4 books and filed 4 patents. He was awarded the Sunway University Early Career Researcher Award for his excellence in research. He is also Listed in World’s Top 2% Scientist in Energy & Materials by Stanford University, USA - Elsevier for 2021, 2022 and 2023. He has delivered more than two dozen invited talks, keynote and guest lectures at different international events.
