Biography:

Dr. Kashif Abbass recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in the 2025 global ranking by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier. Dr. Kashif Abbass holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering with a specialization in Finance from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China. His research expertise spans finance, green finance, climatic finance, environmental economics, sustainable development, and the role of financial systems in advancing environmental sustainability. He has published more than 20 papers in leading SSCI/SCI-indexed journals and holds an H-index of 21 (WOS). Dr. Abbass integrates advanced econometric modeling with policy-relevant analysis, focusing on financial sustainability, fiscal policy, financial development, financial inclusion for sustainability, and innovative financial mechanisms to support climate change mitigation. He serves as an academic editor for the Journal of Innovation & Knowledge, guest editor for Frontiers in Energy Research, and article editor for Sage Open, contributing actively to global scholarly dialogue in green finance, climatic finance, and sustainability. He was also recognized by ScholarGPS as a 2024 Top Scholar.
