Dr. Rustam Abirov
Institute of mechanics & seismic stability of structures, Uzbekistan
Biography:
Rustam Abirov is specialist in mechanics of deformable rigid bodies. He is alumni of Tashkent State University and graduated of department of theory of elasticity. He graduated CADAC courses (Macedonia, Institute of seismology and earthquake engineering) and CERG courses (Switzerland, University of Geneva). His previous and current research activities related to plasticity problems (material properties, constitutive relations), experimental and theoretical investigation of complex loading processes in plasticity , fracture mechanics problems in rock continua, numerical methods, earthquake engineering, seismic risk assessment and related problems. He proposed the plasticity model for plane complex loading processes by using experimental investigations of isotopic and anisotropic materials. His academician degree is doctor of sciences in physics and mathematics and head of laboratory in Institute of mechanics and earthquake engineering of Uzbekistan Academy of sciences. Nowadays Rustam Abirov is referee in following journals: Problems of mechanics, International journal of mathematical physics, Bulletin KRASEC. Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
