Biography:

Dr. Peng Fei Hu obtained his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, he pursued postdoctoral research at the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), Guangzhou, China. His research interests encompass dielectric resonator antennas, filtering antennas, glass antennas, metasurface antennas, and reconfigurable antennas.

Dr. Hu has served on the Organizing Committees of IEEE CAMA 2022 and CSRSWTC 2025. He received the Top Reviewer Commendation Certificates from IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation for four consecutive years (2019–2022) and was listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists from 2022 to 2024. Under his supervision, his students have achieved notable academic honors: they won the Best Student Paper Award at the 2024 IEEE 10th International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications (MAPE) and the 2025 IEEE International Workshop on Electromagnetics: Applications and Student Innovation Competition (IEEE iWEM 2025), as well as the Second Prize of the Hertz Award at the 2024 Huawei Antenna Innovation Cup and both the First Prize and Second Prize of the Hertz Award at the 2025 Huawei Antenna Innovation Cup.
