Biography:
An Hailong, Ph.D., Professor. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Innovation Research Institute of Hebei University of Technology (Shijiazhuang), the Director of the Key Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics of Hebei Province, a leading talent in the Yanzhao Golden Platform Talent Gathering Plan of Hebei Province, a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of Hebei Province, and a recipient of the Outstanding Youth Science Fund of Hebei Province. He is also the leader of a key innovation team in Tianjin and concurrently holds positions as the Executive Director of the Ion Channel and Receptor Branch of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience and the Vice President of the Hebei Physical Society. He has been a visiting scholar at Virginia Commonwealth University and Washington University in St. Louis, USA. His main research areas include the structure-function relationship of ion channels, ion channels and major diseases, and the discovery of ion channel-targeted drugs. He has published over 100 papers, with more than 80 being indexed by SCI. He has led and participated in over 20 projects, including key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, general and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and provincial and ministerial-level projects. He has won two second prizes of the Natural Science Award of Hebei Province, one award for the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Hebei Province, and one third prize of the Natural Science Award of Hebei Province.
