
Prof. Chang-Feng Yan

Biography:
Changfeng Yan has worked in Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1995. He received Ph.D. degree from University of Science and Technology of China. From 2004-2005, he worked in Chemical & Biological Engineering Department, University of British Colombia, Vancouver, Canada as a visiting scientist. He focused on Catalysis kinetics, electro-catalysis, new materials and associated processes, heat and mass transfer, electrochemical cell design and architecture related to electrolyser and fuel cell systems. He has published more than 180 papers on Nat. Commun., ACS Energy Lett., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Appl Catal. B et al. and was authorized to over 30 patents relevant to hydrogen energy. He is an academic committee member of China Association for Hydrogen Energy for China Renewable Energy Society, and for China Electrotechnical Society, and a senior Member for the Chinese Chemical Society.
He is an organizer for Symposium ES11 “Advanced Low Temperature Water-Splitting for Renewable Hydrogen Production via Electrochemical & Photoelectrochemical Processes” of 2019 Material Research Society Spring Meeting and for session “Hydrogen Production from Fossil Fuels” in 5th World Hydrogen Technologies Convention.
