Biography:
Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Science, Guizhou Medical University, China.
Dr. Yang earned her PhD from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In September 2013, she joined the School of Pharmacy at Guizhou Medical University to conduct research on novel drug delivery systems, rehabilitation medicine, and innovative formulations of traditional Chinese medicine. Meanwhile, she also teaches undergraduate courses such as "Pharmaceutics" and "Drug Preparation Design and Development," as well as graduate courses like "Advanced Pharmaceutics."
From September 2011 to March 2013, she pursued advanced studies in nanotechnology, photothermal therapy, and photodynamic therapy as a jointly trained doctoral candidate at the Department of Nanophysics, University of Texas at Arlington. From November 2018 to October 2019, she received funding from the China Scholarship Council to undertake an exchange program at the School of Pharmacy, Queen's University Belfast, focusing on the development of new formulations for traditional Chinese medicine.
Over the past five years, she has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects and eight provincial/municipal - level research projects (all completed). She has published over 40 research papers, including more than 20 SCI - indexed articles as first or corresponding author.
