Prof. Alexander Shmatov

Biography:

Since 2021, Shmatov А.А. have received the degree of D.Sc. in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering, as well as the title of Academician and Professor of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Now Shmatov А.А. works at two universities: as a professor at Wuhan Textile University and as a chief researcher at the Belarusian Institute of Construction Industry.

Research Interest: The main directions of scientific activity of Prof. Shmatov A.A. is the development of scientific foundations and principles of strengthening materials, and on their basis the creation of efficient, economical and ecologically clean methods for strengthening machine parts and tools made from steels, hard alloys and diamond materials in the areas of heat treatment, thermo-chemical treatment and nanotechnology. Prof. Shmatov A.A. is interested in physical, mathematical and graphical modeling of strengthening materials processes, as well as optimization of technological processes for strengthening products and tools.
