Biography:

Dr. Mallikarjuna Korivi is a Professor in the College of Physical Education and Health Sciences, Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua, China (from 2017 to date). Dr. Korivi received his PhD from the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India in 2006. Soon after his PhD, Dr. Korivi moved to South Korea and then China's Taiwan region for his postdoctoral research. For international scientific conferences and research collaborations, Dr. Korivi visited South Korea, China's Taiwan region, Kuwait, Hong Kong, United States, Japan, Malaysia and China. Dr. Korivi is serving as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Physiology, Frontiers in Sports and Active Living, and Nutrition Health (SAGE), and Editor for Journal of Diabetes Research (Wiley) and BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine (Springer Nature). Besides, Dr. Korivi published several 'Special Issues' as a Guest Associate Editor for the SCI journals, like Current Pharmaceutical Design, Frontiers in Physiology, Frontiers in Pharmacology, Fermentation, Frontiers in Nutrition and Journal of Diabetes Research (ongoing). Dr. Korivi published more than 115 articles (original research, reviews, editorials) in peer-reviewed journals. Most of his publications are in Q1 journals, according to the JCR rankings. Dr. Korivi’s citations reached about 3800 with an h-index of 36 and i-10 of 72. 

Dr. Korivi was honored with several awards, including Travel Grant Winner (2019, ACSE, Dubai), Young Investigator Award-Gold (2015, XI World Congress of ISAM, Japan), Travel Grant Award (2015, MOST, China's Taiwan region), Marquis Who’s Who in the World (2010, 2012, 2015 & 2016, USA), Young Investigator Award (2011, The 7th FAOPS, China's Taiwan region), Travel Grant Award to attend ACSM annual meeting USA (2010, NSC, China's Taiwan region), Junior Scientist of the Year 2005 (NESA, India) and Young Scientist (2004, Sri Venkateswara University, India).
