Dr. Jahyung Han

Biography:

Dr. Jahyung Han received his Ph.D in material science from Hanyang University in Korea. He joined Samsung electronics, Korea in 1996 and had worked at semiconductor R&D center for CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) process in memory and LSI device development. In 2012, he moved to US and has been working for GlobalFoundries, USA as a technical staff engineer. He has more than 40 papers and conference presentations and also has more than 20 patents in semiconductor processing area. His major working area is the application of CMP in nano-device manufacturing process. He did many fundamental studies on the defects including scratch, fracture and corrosion during semiconductor process.
