W.K. Wong is currently the Associate Head of Institute of Textiles & Clothing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published more than seventy high-impact research articles in SCI journals, including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Part B and Part C, Pattern Recognition, Applied Soft Computing, Information Science, Decision Support Systems, Pattern Recognition, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Computers and Operations Research, Computers in Industry, International Journal of Neural Systems, Neural Networks, among others. He also serves as a regular paper reviewer for the above journals. His recent research interests include time series forecasting, data mining, pattern recognition and feature extraction and their application in retail industry.
