Prof. Nilgun BAYDOGAN

Biography:

Prof. Dr. Nilgun BAYDOGAN is a professor at Istanbul Technical University and specializes in energy, materials science and environmental technologies. Throughout his academic career, he has focused on innovative energy systems, sustainable materials and environmentally friendly technologies and has successfully completed many projects in these areas.
Having completed his undergraduate and graduate education on physics, nuclear engineering and applications, and material sciences, Prof. Baydogan has made significant contributions to the scientific community by leading various international and TUBITAK-supported projects. He published many scientific articles in his field, gave speeches at conferences and trained students.
Prof. Dr. Baydogan draws attention with its innovative approaches, especially in energy efficient materials, nanomaterials and environmental protection technologies. Believing that academic and applied research should be carried out together, Baydogan has also signed projects and patents aiming to strengthen the cooperation between industry and academia. Additionally, it contributes to the training of the new generation of scientists by mentoring young researchers.
Prof. Baydogan is an active member of national and international scientific communities and closely follows the developments in material science and environmental technologies and leads pioneering studies in these fields.
