Biography:

My job broadly focuses on the environmental behavior and biological effects of new pollutants such as microplastics (MPs) -more specifically, in-depth analysis of the influence of abiotic stress on the environmental behavior of new pollutants in soil, and research on the migration and transformation mechanism of new pollutants and their migration rules in farmland ecosystems. At the same time, in order to investigate the combined toxic effects and mechanisms of pollutants, high-throughput sequencing, metagenomics, transcriptomics and other technologies were used to study the effects of MPs alone or combined with other novel pollutants on the growth and reproduction, oxidative stress, intestinal damage and behavioral motor indexes of zoobenthos through pollutant adsorption and joint exposure experiments. The role of zoobenthos in the occurrence and transformation of MPs was also discussed. Establish a microplastic biomonitoring system suitable for freshwater rivers, assess the biological risks of new pollutants such as MPs in freshwater rivers, and propose biological programs to mitigate new pollutants in freshwater environments.
