Dr. Pooyan Ayar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. Prior to his appointment at IUST, he completed his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Granada, Spain in 2017, under the supervision of renowned experts in the field. Dr. Ayar's research expertise lies at the intersection of Pavement Engineering & Management, Transport Engineering & Planning, and Sustainable Engineering, with a focus on innovative solutions to tackle pressing global challenges. His research endeavors have been characterized by a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, data-driven approaches, and cutting-edge methodologies. As a dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Ayar has been involved in various academic and research activities, including teaching, research supervision, and project management. His outstanding academic achievements have been recognized with numerous honors and awards, including being selected as "Top Young Assistant Professor" of Iran University of Science & Technology in the field of research and technology in 2023.
