Prof. Dr. Walid DRIDI is a senior researcher nuclear science and engineering and works in the National Centre for Nuclear Science and Technology (Tunisia). He has got a Habilitation to Conduct Research (HDR) diploma in nuclear Physics from Tunis El Manar University. In 2006 had his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Val d’Essonne University joint to The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). He has more than 18 years of experience in neutron code validation and verification, reactor core design, neutron physics, and Irradiated materials characterization. Actually, He is interested in Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Designs analysis, Financing and Non-electrical Applications.

He has also supported the editorial staff of international journals by reviewing a large number of manuscripts for a variety of specialized journals.
