Andrii Bieliatynskyi is a Deputy Director on Science of the Institute of Airports, Head of the Chair of Airports and Motorways Reconstruction of the National Aviation University, Academician of Transport Academy of Ukraine, Academician of Engineering Academy of Ukraine, Honoured road-worker of Ukraine, member of an International Association of Specialists of Industrial Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor. 

He has graduated with a distinction from the Kyiv Automotive-Road Institute on the specialty "Highways and Airfields" (1988-1993). On completion of the Institute he worked as a road master of Gaivoronskyi district road -repair-building area.

 From 1993 to 2004 he worked at the National Transport University: as a graduate student (1993-1996), Senior Researcher (1996-1999), as a person working for Doctor's Degreeт of the Chair of Bridges and Tunnels (1999-2004).

 Since 2004 Mr. Bieliatynskyi has been working at the National Aviation University: as a Professor of the Chair of Airports and Motorways Reconstruction (2004-2008); since 2008 to present day he heads this Chair, being simultaneously Deputy Director on Science of the Institute of Municipal Economy (2006-2008), Acting Director of the Institute of Municipal Economy (2008). Since 2009 to present day he has been taking up the position of a Deputy Director on Science of the Institute of Airports of the National Aviation University. 

In 1996 he defended Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Research of local washout at bridges footings at their reconstruction by the methods of stereophotogrammetry" on the specialty 05.22.11 "Highways and Airfields".

In 2005 he defended a thesis for a Doctor's degree on the topic "Hydrological research of bridges at their reconstruction using the methods of remote sensing of the Earth" on the specialty 05.22.11 "Highways and Airfields". 

Scientific research in which Mr. Bieliatynskyi is involved relates to the study of processes of water flow during natural calamities in mountainous districts difficult of access by means of mathematical modeling and geoinformation systems using aerospace information and stereophotography, and to upgrading the theory of traffic flows. Mr. Bieliatynskyi delivers lectures on the subject «Design basis of highways», «Designing of highways (special course)», the «Overall planning of airports», «Automated systems of highways and airfields designing CREDO». 

 Mr. Bieliatynskyi is an Associate Professor of the Chair of Computer Technologies (2002), Professor of the Chair of Airports and Motorways Reconstruction (2007). Directions of his scientific activity: construction of highways and airfields, transport systems, industrial and civil construction.

Mr. Bieliatynskyi worked on probation in the Federal Republic of Germany (1991-1995), Lithuanian Republic (2011, 2013).

Awards:  Insignia of the Institute of Ecology and Design of the National Aviation University (2005), a breastplate the "Honoured Road-worker of Ukraine" (State Road Administration (Ukravtodor)) (2008), a medal "For Zealous Labour"(2009), Big Silver Medal of the Ukrainian Academy of Civil Engineering (2014).

Mr. Bieliatynskyi is an author of 300 published studies: 220 articles, 7 educational aids, 3 monographs, 7 patents. He trained 2 Candidates of Engineering Sciences, and is a scientific adviser of 5 graduate students and 2 persons working for doctor's degree. 

Mr. Bieliatynskyi  is a Chairman of a specialized Academic Council K 26.062.12 at the National Aviation University and is authorized for consideration and holding  theses defending on the competition of a graduate degree of  Candidate of Engineering Sciences on specialties 05.22.11 "Highways and Airfields" and 05.23.01 "Building structures, buildings and erections". Mr. Bieliatynskyi is a member of a specialized Academic Council D 26.062.04 at the National Aviation University for consideration and holding  theses defending on the competition of a graduate degree of  Candidate of Engineering Sciences on the specialty 05.22.01 "Transport systems". Member of a specialized Academic Council D 64.059.01 at the Kharkiv National Automobile-Road University for consideration and holding  theses defending on the competition of a graduate degree of  Candidate of Engineering Sciences on the specialty 05.22.11 "Highways and Airfields" and  "Materials Technology".  He is a member of a specialized Academic Council of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania) on the specialty 03-Т «Transport Engineering".  Mr. Bieliatynskyi is a member of editorial boards of scientific magazines «Transport», «Bulletin of the National Aviation University», «Problems of Municipal Economy Development », «Science and the Youth», «Science is the Future of Lithuania». He is a member of an Academic Council of the Ministry of Education and Science, Young and Sports of Ukraine in the section «Building Technology, Design and Architecture», a member of an Academic and Technical Council of the State Road Scientific Research Institute named after М.P. Shulgin (DNDI, Ukravtodor), Vice-Chairman of an Academic Council of the Institute of Airports of the National Aviation University, a Chairman of an Academic-Methodical-Drafting Council  of the Institute of Airports of the National Aviation University.
