Biography:

Sergey Vladimirovich Parshin is a Professor at the Department of Metallurgical and Rotary Machines, Institute of New Materials and Technologies, Ural Federal University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and recipient of the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Award. Born in 1980. Total work experience - 24 years.
A graduate of UrFU (2001), with a degree in Metallurgical Machines and Equipment. Parshin S.V. is the author of 170 scientific publications, a monograph dedicated to the production of special-purpose shaped tubes, and 30 patents for inventions.
His research interests lie in computer modeling and optimization of technological equipment and metal forming processes. His achievements include the optimization of the shape of oil and gas pipes and the shape of tools for the manufacture of heat engineering pipes. He is the supervisor of graduate students working on shaped tubes for various purposes.
Since 2013, he has been accredited in the Federal Register of Experts in Science and Technology. He participates in the work of expert groups approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. He is a member of dissertation councils in the field.
He teaches courses such as “Digital Technologies in Mechanical Engineering”, “Intellectual Property Protection”, and other disciplines to bachelor’s and master’s students. He is characterized by his involvement in the educational process, a desire for innovation, and mastery of new research technologies. In the coming years, he aims to keep abreast of advanced research methods and engage in the creation of innovative designs and technologies. He is proficient in technical English and is studying Chinese.
