Professor Vicenta Sanchez earned her bachelor’s (1996), master’s (1999) and doctoral (2003) degrees from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She is currently a full professor at the Faculty of Science of UNAM, dedicating to the study of electronic transport in aperiodic heterostructures with 40 publications in JCR-indexed journals. Her research focuses on real-space renormalization methods that significantly reduce computational time, as well as on thermoelectric properties of nanomaterials with interfaces, impurities, and structural defects.
