Title: Artificial Intelligence and Change Management

Abstract:

Artificial intelligence not only has technical attributes, but also social attributes. Artificial intelligence is not only revolutionary technology, but also brings about a revolution in management innovation. The traditional management principles have to face great challenges in the era of artificial intelligence. From stable competition to hypercompetition, from market forces to network model, from organization lifecycle to hypercompetitive trajectories, and from structures to ambidexterity will be the changes in the future. Also, institutional logics and performativity, new theories of practice and digital innovation will be very helpful for industries to adapt this changes.

Biography:

Qi Jiayin, Director, Professor and Doctoral Mentor, Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Change Management, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. In 2009, she was selected as the "New Century Talent Program" of the Ministry of Education, and in 2017 she was selected as the "Shanghai Leading Talent". Her research interests are big data, artificial intelligence and management innovation. She has completed one major research project of the National Social Science Foundation of China with immunity from review, and one key research project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, which was evaluated as "excellent". She was selected as a highly cited scholar in the field of decision-making science for five times by Elsevier. Her English academic papers were published in the field of well-known academic journals, one Chinese academic paper was reproduced in full from Xinhua Digest, one opinion article is published in the theory edition of the Guangming Daily. More than ten policy recommendations were adopted by the Government. Her research results were applied in several units, such as the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the People's Network, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the China (Shanghai) Free Trade Pilot Zone, Zhong Wu net and other units, and achieved good economic value and social value. She has served as Chairman in several international conferences.
