Title: Industrialization of Triumph Group CIGS Thin Film Module

Abstract:

The report mainly describes the basic knowledge and development of CIGS module, and the strategy and progress of CIGS thin film module of Triumph Group. The report will be divided into five parts: 1) Introduction of CIGS industrialization of Triumph Group, including development history, strategy and the technical origination; 2) Brief review of CIGS solar mechanism, such as the power generation principle and CIGS process flow; 3) Introduction of research and development as well as construction of manufacturing base of CIGS, i.e. the founding of Triumph Photovoltaic Materials Co. Ltd. (TPVM) and its progress of R&D and mass production; 4) Development status and prospect of Triumph Group for CIGS, which emphasizes on the technological advantages and development status as well as its future development plans; 5) BIPV application of CIGS module, such as applying CIGS module to factory building, office building and Stadium, etc.

Biography:

Genbao Xu---National Distinguished Expert. Doctor of Materials Science & Engineering, Northwestern University, USA. Post doctor of University of Illinois, USA. The General Manager of Triumph Photovoltaic Materials Co., LTD., distinguished expert of Float Glass New Technology National Key Laboratory. Dr. Xu has occupied prestigious positions in famous enterprises in and abroad, such as Intel, HP and Applied Materials Co., LTD. Having worked extensively in the fields of R&D and manufacturing of IC and solar cell more than 30 years, Dr. Xu has published more than 10 international and domestic patents, as well as a number of academic papers in professional fields. He has participated and managed the construction of China's "first" copper IC production line , "first" 300MM IC line, CIGS and a-Si thin film solar module and c-Si solar cell with the billions of investment each, and the production of TCO thin film.
