Abstract:
Biography:
Dr. Shahzada Qamar Hussain is working as Assistant Professor in department of
Physics at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore campus Pakistan. Dr. Hussain
completed his doctor degree in energy science from well-known Sungkyunkwan
University, Suwon South Korea in 2018. Sungkyunkwan University is worldwide very
famous due to its innovative research ideas and ranked within the top 100 universities.
He worked there on several funded research projects related to Silicon Heterojunction
(SHJ) solar cells, thin-film silicon solar cells (TFSCs), Zinc oxide nanoparticles and
electron/hole carrier selective contact (CSC) solar cells. The title for his Ph.D.
dissertation was “Efficiency improvement methodologies for thin-film silicon and
crystalline silicon solar cells”. Recently, Dr. Hussain is supervising various bachelor,
master and Ph.D students. To date He has achieved an accumulative impact factor of
almost 150 by publishing 50+ research articles in the prominent journals in the scope
of solar energy such as Solar Energy Materials and Solar cells, Solar Energy, Applied
Surface Science, Energy, etc. Recently, He has been appointed as a guest Editor for the
special issue “Silicon Photovoltaics Materials and Devices" of MDPI journal “Crystals”.
