Title: Bacterial-based preparations - assistants for increasing crop yields
Abstract:
Mineral fertilizers, while allowing to significantly increasing the productivity of agricultural crops, have an adverse effect on soil and ecology in general during long-term use. Microorganisms that form the basis of biopreparation, which are considered as an alternative to mineral fertilizers, stimulate plant growth and development due to the ability to nitrogen fixation, dissolution of inaccessible elements of mineral nutrition, suppression of phytopathogens, production of siderophores, phytohormones and enzymes, increased absorption of moisture and nutrients. Preparations containing strains of nitrogen-fixing bacteria are widespread. Preparations of phosphate-mobilising and ‘silicate’ bacteria are less widespread. We have patented bacterial strains and their combinations with the greatest potential ability to stimulate seed germination, possessing nitrogen-fixing, phosphate- and potassium-solubilising, phytoprotective and growth-stimulating activity used to improve plant nutrition, improve biocenosis and increase grain yield. Experimentally established yield increase of spring barley up to 25.9%, spring wheat - 25.9%.
