Title: Contributions of American Literary Research Associations for Emerging Scholars in Global South: Challenges and Prospects

Abstract:

American Literary Research Associations promote and advance international development as a field of study, research, and action. Associations aim to deepen understanding of how literature is dynamically investigated and how literary theories are applied. Literary research associations are generally established based on membership, with both individual and institutional members, and are wholly funded through their membership premiums and activities. I will examine how research associations contribute to and motivate emerging scholars and novice researchers by organising conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposiums; publishing books, articles, and magazines; and blog writing, by providing research grants and fellowships for members and non-members every year.  I demonstrate how researchers meet and talk with people beyond their own department or academic discipline; engage with and support the wider collegiate research and teaching community; and share their ideas and views. I aim to highlight how South Asian teachers, students, researchers, and scholars can be motivated in research writing, participate in conferences, acquire research knowledge, receive research grants, mitigate literary research crises, and face challenges. My purpose is to uphold how American literary research organisations take steps to overcome challenges faced by researchers and scholars in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. There are five crucial reasons why I am interested in conducting the crises of literary research faced by South Asian emerging scholars and the contributions of American literary research associations. First, I aim to show what sorts of complexities in literary research are now being faced by emerging scholars in Bangladesh India, and Pakistan. Second, I would like to depict how scholars tackle their crises in carrying out potential projects. Third, I aim to foster how American literary research associations contribute to emerging scholars. Fourth, my purpose is to explore how current challenges of literary research can be mitigated. Fifth, I will explore how the contributions of American literary research associations can be implemented.
