I Dr. Shadab Shaukat, Ph.D. from Agriculture university Faisalabad Pakistan, more than six years teaching and research experience in the agriculture field. I am currently working as Assistant professor, department of Plant Breeding & Genetics at LUAWMS Uthal, Distt: Lasbela- Balochistan. Member of “Cereals Research Group” of the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Uthal, District Lasbela, Balochistan, Pakistan My current interests are focused on the expression of stress proteins and other stress related primary and secondary metabolites under water, salinity, heat and heavy metal stresses, and finding strategies to fetch greater yields under such conditions to improve wheat crop. My research interests are Breeding for abiotic (terminal heat) stress in wheat. Bioinformatics of wheat gene identification and characterization. I am also involved in the improvement of wheat germplasm for per acre yield according to the standards prescribed by various agencies in Pakistan. I am Creative Thinker, Good Team Worker, Cooperative, Intelligent, Intellectual, self-motivated with excellent analytical and logical skills, has the ability to outshine under pressure and work on own initiative and also work well within a team having a high capacity to adapt to new skill areas quickly.
