Title: The Role of Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) in Medicine

Abstract:

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) technology has emerged as a promising therapeutic tool in medicine, owing to its safety, effectiveness, and minimal side effects. CAP exhibits powerful antimicrobial properties against bacteria, viruses, and fungi, promotes tissue proliferation and wound healing, and has shown potential in inhibiting the growth and migration of tumor cells. This presentation explores the applications of CAP in women's health, particularly in areas such as wound healing, infection management, and tumor treatment in gynecological contexts. The presentation provides an in-depth analysis of CAP technology, including its direct and indirect applications, the mechanisms of its active components, and how they interact with different tissues, including reproductive tissues. It also examines CAP’s effects on microbial infections, with a focus on gynecological infections caused by bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Furthermore, the presentation highlights CAP's role in enhancing tissue repair and regeneration, particularly in post-surgical recovery and inflammatory conditions such as cervicitis or endometriosis. Finally, the paper discusses CAP’s potential in tumor treatment and its future in reproductive medicine. Technology’s non-invasive nature and ability to function at room temperature present a promising frontier in gynecological therapies. Ongoing research is needed to optimize CAP’s clinical applications in women's health.
