Biography:

Dr Haiyang Zou is currently a Professor at the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Sichuan University. Holding a PhD degree from the esteemed Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, he furthered his expertise through postdoctoral research there. Dr Zou’s academic journey has led him to specialize in a wide array of areas including nano materials, nano-systems, and nanodevices, as well as photonics, piezo-electronics, piezo-phototronics, triboelectric nanogenerators, and flexible electronics. With an impressive track record, Dr Zou has published 63 publications with H-Index of 41, comprising 2 book chapters and 61 journal articles featured in journals such as Nature Energy, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, and Chemical Society Reviews, etc. He was recognized as one of the world’s most influential researchers in his field based on the databases of standardized citation indicators (Word’s top 2% scientists named by Stanford University).
