Title: IMPORTANCE AND NECESSITY OF GEOMETRIC MODELING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS
Abstract:
The current development trends show that it is necessary to rely on innovations in solving many problems. This is justified by the fact that innovative development, as a global process, is necessary for all countries, especially for developing countries. Consequently diversification of innovation activity is today’s an urgent task. In solving this task, the sectors of the national innovation system "Government" - "University" - "Industry" should interact together and increase innovation activity. However, there is a problem related to insufficient interaction between the "University" and "Industry", which does not provide an opportunity to increase innovation activity. This interaction should be ensured by the so-called linking infrastructure between these sectors. This linking infrastructure is R&D organizations, and their task is to implement innovations on the basis of the principle "from concept to commercialization". Improving the design organizations’ activities, as main units of the innovation infrastructure, is great importance in this respect, as their activities are based on the development and commercialization of "New Products" through R&D. Innovation in industry is aimed at solving global problems, which was the basis for the UN's adoption of "Industrialization, Innovation and Infrastructure" as one of the Sustainable Development Goals. The report on the Sustainable Development Goals states that, although global R&D expenditure is growing, it is still too low in the least developed countries. For example, to assess the problem there was considered the reforms carried out and the statistical data as their result in Uzbekistan for the last 10-year period. The analysis of statistical data for 2013-2022 shows that the problem is still relevant. Therefore, one of the main objectives of the Strategy for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 is the development of innovation infrastructure and it provides for a threefold increase in the number of subjects of innovation infrastructure. The study of the problem allowed justifying the need to develop infrastructure through organizing the Universities Innovative Design Centers, which considered in this work from view point of using geometric modeling in their activities.
Biography:
I am Juraev Tojiddin Khayrullayevich. I was born in 1968 in Bukhara region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I have 30 years of pedagogical experience in the higher education system. My professional carrier begins as assistant at the Department of “Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing” in 1992 year, after graduating from Bukhara State Technical University with a specialization in “Mechanical Engineering”. In 2016-2018 years I studied in doctoral program on specialization “Engineering Geometry and Computer aided Design”. After finishing in 2019, I defended my PhD dissertation on “Geometric modeling of working bodies of the ameliorative and agricultural machinery”. In 2022-2024 years I studied in postdoctoral school on the specialty “Agriculture Engineering”. The theme of my postdoctoral research is “Improvement of theoretical bases of geometric modeling application in conceptual design of agro engineering systems”. At present I work as an associate professor at the department of “General Engineering Disciplines”. I have published more than 50 articles in local and international scientific journals and participated in more than 80 international scientific conferences by theses. I have prepared more than 20 methodical instructions, manuals, monographs and textbooks, as well as received 3 patents for utility model and invention. I have undergone international scientific internships in universities of Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, India and Malaysia. My research topics are devoted to the application of geometric modeling methods in conceptual design of engineering objects. These researches are aimed at solving engineering problems of design character taking into account socioeconomic and ecological problems. The goals of my research coincide with many of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations. The results of my research prove the importance and necessity of applying geometric modeling methods in the creation of innovative products, as well as in improving the integration of national innovation system sectors “Government” – “Industry” – “University”.
