Dr.  Syed Agha Hassnain  Mohsan

Title: Interplay Between NOMA and Other Emerging Technologies

Abstract:

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been recently recognized as a promising multiple access (MA) technique to significantly improve the spectral efficiency of mobile communication networks. This invited talk will briefly explain the fundamentals of NOMA, key potentials and its unique integration with several other emerging communication technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) etc. Particularly, some critical challenges and new research aspects will be discussed for future breakthrough novelties. 

Biography:

Syed Agha Hassnain Mohsanis a Joint Postdoctoral fellow at EIT-USTC, China. He received PhD in Marine Information Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University, China. He is serving as Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports and Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers in Marine Sciences.Currently, he is serving as a Topical Advisory Panel member for Drones and JMSE. He has served as a peer reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Transactions on Big Data  and several other SCIE/SSCIjournals. He has served as a Workshop Chair, Session Organizer, TPC member and delivered invited talks in several International Conferences. His research interests include Optical Wireless Communication, Wireless Power Transfer, NOMA, IoUT, UWSN, UAVs, IRS, and 5G/6G technology. With a comulative impact factor of 300+, he has published more than 95articles in OSA, Elsevier, Springer Nature, IEEETransaction, SPIE and several other Journals/Conferences.
