Also, in the context of English language learning, the use of AI now a days is one of the demanded areas for study and it is appreciated and in western context. On the other hand, in the eastern part of the world, precisely in South Asia, the countries are still on the verge of using apropos technology tools for education. One of the major stake-holder in South Asia is Pakistan with over 235 million population. So, this study will be an attempt to integrate AI in the context of teaching and learning with reference to Pakistani context. The major focus of this study will be vocabulary acquisition. The population will be from Pakistan, whereas the sample will be 100 learners from Lahore, which is the provincial capital of Punjab, Pakistan. Activity theory will be applied as a framework for the research. Applying a quantitative study, the learners will be given a pre-test and based on their scores they will be placed into two groups of controlled and experimental. The control group will learn by usual ways (teacher-commanded method) and the experiment group will be under technology-based learning method (AI technique). The time for experiment will be 1 month and later, after the post-test the results will be matched and compared.
