Title: Research on Load-Bearing and Vibration Attenuation in Metamaterial Sandwich Panels

Abstract:

In light of the challenges associated with traditional sandwich panel structures in achieving an optimal balance between load-bearing capacity and vibration reduction performance, sandwich structures have emerged as a promising frontier for enhancing structural integrity and vibration reduction. This study aims to comprehensively investigate a metal rubber-phononic crystal hybrid sandwich panel. The load bearing and vibration attenuation characteristics are systematically explored through numerical simulations and experimental tests. The vibration reduction capabilities of the hybrid sandwich panel are primarily influenced by the innovative spider-type phononic crystal, while its load-bearing performance is maintained by metal rubbers. This research demonstrates that the proposed hybrid sandwich panel achieves an integrated design of load-bearing and vibration reduction, providing a novel reference for low-frequency vibration control in engineering applications.
