Biography:
Dr. Kundan Sharma is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Physical Chemistry, currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Govt. College Nagrota Bagwan, affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Himachal Pradesh University in 2014 and has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his career, including qualifying CSIR–NET and receiving a Gold Medal for securing first rank in M.Phil.
Dr. Sharma has over a decade of teaching and research experience, having previously served at Amity University and Govt. College Paonta Sahib under the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh. His research expertise lies in solution thermodynamics, surfactant chemistry, micellar systems, phase equilibria, and spectroscopic analysis, with applications in pharmaceutical and industrial systems. He has published 23 research papers in reputed international journals of Elsevier, Springer, ACS, and RSC, and has authored three textbooks for undergraduate chemistry courses.
He was selected as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Helsinki, Finland, and received the DST Young Scientist grant to attend an international conference in Germany. He has been recognized as an outstanding reviewer by prestigious journals and serves on the editorial board of international publications. Dr. Sharma has delivered invited and keynote lectures at several international conferences, including in China and the United Kingdom.
An active academic leader, he has organized national and international conferences and contributes to curriculum development as a Member of the Board of Studies in Chemistry at Himachal Pradesh University. His dedication to teaching, research, and academic leadership makes him a distinguished keynote speaker for this international conference.
