Title: From Crisis Management to Market Intelligence: Transformative AI Applications Across Modern Economies
Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how complex economic systems are designed, managed, and optimized across industries and public sectors. This keynote explores the role of applied AI as a catalyst for economic resilience, operational efficiency, and data-driven innovation, with a focus on three high-impact domains: large-scale evacuation during natural disasters, airport operation optimization, and stock market prediction.
First, the talk examines AI-enabled decision support systems for massive evacuation scenarios, where real-time data analytics, machine learning, and optimization models improve emergency response efficiency, reduce economic losses, and enhance public safety under extreme uncertainty. Second, it highlights AI applications in airport operations, demonstrating how intelligent scheduling, demand forecasting, and resource allocation models can significantly improve throughput, reduce delays, lower operational costs, and support sustainable transportation infrastructure. Finally, the keynote discusses AI-driven approaches to stock market prediction, illustrating how advanced learning models extract insights from large-scale financial data to support risk management, investment strategies, and market efficiency.
By integrating these case studies, the keynote underscores how AI bridges technological innovation and economic value creation across crisis management, infrastructure systems, and financial markets. The presentation concludes with insights into the economic implications, ethical considerations, and future research directions of AI adoption, offering a holistic perspective on how intelligent systems can drive innovation and informed decision-making in an increasingly complex global economy.
