Title: Integrating ESG into Corporate Strategy: Driving Sustainable Value Creation
Abstract:
This presentation explores the strategic necessity of embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into core business models to move beyond mere compliance toward substantive value creation. Utilizing an integrative bibliometric review of recent literature and firm-level data, the study identifies critical mechanisms—such as experiential design in tourism and balanced board gender parity—that bridge the "say-do gap" and reduce ESG decoupling. Key findings highlight that while sustainable finance and business models are reciprocally influential, their effectiveness is often facilitated by sustainable corporate governance and ownership structures. The presentation concludes by proposing actionable frameworks for managers to navigate complex geopolitical risks and optimize global strategies for a regenerative future toward 2050
