Title: Modeling and Design Methods for Dynamic Characteristics of Rubber Isolators

Abstract:

As a key component connecting the powertrain and the vehicle body, the rubber isolator plays a vital role in reducing the vibration transmitted from the powertrain to the body. With the continuous development of electric vehicles, the excitation frequency generated by the electric vehicle powertrain has exceeded 2 000 Hz. However, the research on the dynamic characteristics of rubber isolators is still mainly concentrated in the low and middle frequency range of 0-200 Hz. Most of the researches on the high-frequency dynamic characteristics of rubber isolators only use the finite element method, and there are few studies using dynamic models to calculate the high-frequency dynamic characteristics. Therefore, in this presentation, the modeling methods of high-frequency dynamic characteristics of single-stage and double-stage rubber isolators are studied respectively.
