Dr. Halima Begum is a Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Expert UUM) of Dept. of Finance under School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB), Universiti (y) Utara Malaysia (Best Eminent Management University, AMBA and AACSB-accredited business school). She has more than 10 years of research experience and 6 years of teaching experience from multiple countries, course/exam coordinated, curriculum reviewer of Fin-tech & Sustainable Finance, and supervised Undergrad Practicum, and E-MBA students, MSC (Research) and PhD candidates. She is a Researcher (Visiting) in Centre for European Economy, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku, Azerbaijan, She is the advisory board of IFN Islamic Sustainable Finance & Investment Forum 2022 and the board of members of World Association of Professors on Sustainability Science and Research, WASP-SSR - HAW Hamburg, European School of Sustainability Science and Research and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. She is serving also as an Associate Editor in International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management since August 2021. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Environmental Management (Research Mainly on Sustainable Development, Environment, Social, Economic, and Financial Sustainability) at the Faculty of Social sciences and Humanities in the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She served as a ‘Research Scholar’ of Centre for Research & Innovation Management (CRIM), National University of Malaysia (UKM) for 3 years 8 months and served as a ‘Research Associate’ at the Imperial Group and Centre for Good Governance (CGG) for more than 1 year. She also served as a Lecturer of the Faculty of Business Administration at Southern University, Bangladesh for almost 3 years and was a part-time Lecturer of CAT, ACCA, and several financial organizations for 3 years. She did her MBA and BBA in Finance and Banking (majoring) and minoring in economics, Accounting, Marketing, and Management, etc. She published, accepted, and under reviewed more than 100 papers as well as published 38 papers from her research interested in the area in various reputable international ISI WOS (Q1-Q4) and Scopus indexed journals, 36 proceedings, 5 book chapters with 5 posters and others are reviewing. Her expertise in Sustainability, Financial Sustainability, Environment Economics, Islamic Microfinance, Techno Finance, Green Banking, Financial Market, Economic development, etc.
